1.It’s NYE, the year 2027. A stranger walks outside your apartment building EARLY in the evening. They hear music and chatter and somehow sneak into the building, come up to your floor and knock on your door. Are you taking them in as a guest?

I've been that stranger many times, I wish someone had taken me in. It's a yes-yes.

2. What’s the first thing that captures the stranger’s attention once in the house?

The togetherness, the friends, the atmosphere.

3. 3. Who are the other guests and what’s the exact premise tonight? Is this a party or a more casual turn-of-the-year gathering?

It's a dinner hosted in my apartment, a courageous act to welcome new moons. - when real friends meet, it's always an act of brave hearts - My sister is there, childhood friends, my dead grandfather, friends who gathered from different locations from all over this planet and I haven't seen in a while, an imaginary bf whose concept I've been working on the last 30 years, beloved artists and winemakers. A casual heart-warming, ego-bashing gathering. My court.

4. You decide to share a personal story with the new guest in an attempt to help them acclimate to the new environment. What is the story about?

The long line of immigration running my family. People always empathise with this, no matter if we are talking about selfish hustlers, doped by traveling.

5. Food and beverages are a major highlight of this evening. What’s on the menu you've prepared especially for tonight?

There is bread and olive oil, a greens pie, pork with dried fruits, lots of cheese. And wine, there is always wine on the menu.

6. Certain types of food ARE by now scarce and HAVE been replaced by ALTERNATIVES. What’s the one food you’RE STILL nostalgic about and wish you could bring BACK to your NYE table?

Fish and seafood. A good fish soup and rusk.

7. Have you set a NYE dress code?

Fancy shoes, white shirts, jeans

8. What’s the one funny, sloppy aspect in your NYE looks that you’re trying to keep a secret from your guests TONIGHT?

Underwear, you know this kind of bra that never sits where it's supposed to. Same for my briefs.

9. Is there a specific song you’d like to welcome the new year with? What does it say about the year THAT HAS just GONE BY?

Sara- Fleetwood Mac, for the remaining years of my life, I find only love keeps me here. This is always in my review for each year going and my wish for every year coming. Every year. Without love I'm nothing.

10. Name the most important thing you have to take care of tonight in order to make your guests feel absolutely comfortable at your home.

Atmosphere, deco, lights, wine, music. If we have this we can even feast on souvlakia.
